Often called the “mother of Philippine BPO,” Karen has built and managed small to large-scale operations; from regional teams of 30 staff to over 10,000 across multiple industries across Asia Pacific and the US.

 

Karen has played a large role developing Philippines as a powerhouse global BPO/Shared Services destination. She co-founded the well-respected industry association called the IT & Business Process Association of the Philippines (IBPAP).  She has run many of the industry's most important companies such as Optum Global Services, QBE Insurance, JP Morgan Chase, ICT Group and SourceOne.  Karen is also past Chairman and board advisor to the Global In-House Center Council (GICC) Philippines.
