The **World Economic Forum** ranks cyber threats as the single greatest risk to global infrastructure -- ahead of financial collapse, natural disasters and terrorism. US intelligence also ranks cyber threats as the most significant risk. Similar stories are heard around the world in industries as diverse as financial services, airlines, healthcare, oil & gas, government, etc. Remarkably 75% of companies in Asia reported some kind of cyber-attack in 2011, according to **PWC**. In the US, estimates are that data breaches currently cost an average of US$9.4M each with figures rising. Security professionals report risk profiles are increasing at alarming rates due to the huge increase in entry points resulting from unstoppable trends in mobile devices, social media, cloud computing, and so on. We heard one of Asia’s leading authorities in **Cyber Risk Mediation**. Flying in from Hong Kong, we presented **Jason Kelly**, Regional VP of Hong Kong, Korea, Taiwan, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and Malaysia for all financial lines products of **AIG**. There was be a brief introduction by our own **Mark Lwin**, the very successful former head of AIG shared services operations in Philippines and Malaysia. **Jason Kelly** Jason began his career with AIG in 1999 in the New York office. Since then he has taken on various positions of increasing responsibility including director and officers insurance and especially cyber risk in AIG San Francisco, International Director's and Officer's insurance in AIG London. He currently oversees Hong Kong, Korea, Taiwan, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and Malaysia for all financial lines products. Jason also oversees cyber risk and Director's and Officer's for Asia. Jason is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point with a BS in business administration.
