Asia CEO Forum

Asia CEO Forum, presented by PLDT ALPHA Enterprise, is the largest regular business event in Philippines and considered one of the most important in the Southeast Asia region. The forum serves as a hub for the spreading of ideas that help executive managers overseeing enterprises across the Asia Pacific region.

Attendees are senior business people active in Philippines and across the Asia Pacific region overseeing multinational and regional organizations. Presenters are leaders in their industries and engaged in momentous pursuits of significance to the entire region.

The Asia CEO Forum attracts approximately 150 - 200 attendees from Philippines and across Asia. In order to attract suitable senior level attendees, individuals attend through personal invitations of the organizers.

Rebecca Bustamante

President

Rebecca Bustamante is the founder of Chalre Associates Executive Search and responsible for operations of the company. She is considered one of the most accomplished female entrepreneurs currently working in Philippines.

Rebecca Bustamante's business achievements have been the subject of articles in the Philippine Enquirer, BusinessMirror, Manila Bulletin (Panorama), MOD magazine, Woman’s magazine, Baby magazine, Philippine Mirror, He & She magazine and TV4. She is a former Vice President of the Canadian Club of the Philippines and has played a key role on the organizing committee of the "Canadian Snow Ball," one of the largest annual social events in Philippines.

Rebecca began her 20-year career in Canada. Her most recent position was Senior Sales Director for a large international cosmetics organization. Richard is a featured presenter for Asia region conferences and provided Keynote Addresses for the following international expositions: HR Shared Services & BPO (Singapore), Successful Shared Services (Singapore), Executive Compensation & Benefits EXPO (Singapore).

He is a columnist and thought leader for a host of international publications. Some of these include: ComputerWorld, AsiaTimes, TelecomAsia, YahooNews, AsiaMiner and IndiaDaily. He is an Expert Panelist for CIO magazine (US) and the Offshore Offsourcing Best Practices association in New York. He is co-founder and current chairman of the International ICT Awards, one of the largest gala events in the Asia Pacific region.

Richard's extensive career in Executive Search & Management Consulting includes 6 years working throughout Asia and 9 years in Toronto. His clients are multinational corporations for senior management positions. Of the many international recruitment projects he worked on in the Asia Pacific region, one was particularly noteworthy as it was reported on national Korean television as the largest technical recruiting venture in Korean history. The project was also a cover story for ComputerWorld magazine throughout North America.

Richard has an Honours Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Waterloo, Canada’s most prominent technical post-secondary institution. He possesses the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst from the CFA Institute with its world head-quarters in Charlottesville, VA, USA.

Don Felbaum

Don has 30 years of senior Telecoms and IT experience working in Philippines and throughout the Asia region.

His commercial experience extends to business development, joint ventures, feasibility studies, technology transfers, project financing, equity investments and strategic planning.

Don has successfully concluded over 200 client engagements. He has developed a reputation for delivering results "on time and on budget" with major Fortune 500 companies and generated region-wide vendor sales in Asia-Pacific exceeding US$100M.

Don is Vice President of the American Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines and Chairman of its prominent Telecoms/IT Subcommittee. He has lived and worked in Manila, Philippines for over twenty (20) years.

Bob Bustamante

Vice President, Operations

Bob Bustamante is responsible for all operational functions of Asia CEO Forum and Asia CEO Awards.

Based in Canada for 15 years, he gained many years of sales experience in competitive environments. In his previous organizations, Bob was consistently among the top 10 among 500 sales people in the Greater Toronto area -- and often among the top 2 or 3.

He attended Ryerson University in Canada for computer science and St. Joseph's College in Philippines for accounting.
