For 23 years, John Philip Singson Orbeta has built a solid career in corporate human resources (HR), HR consulting and managing businesses across geographies. He has proven expertise in overall HR strategy and implementation, human capital strategy, organizational transformation and change management, executive compensation and employee benefits, talent management, employee engagement, performance management, and HR consulting and outsourcing.
As managing director of Ayala Corporation and member of its senior management committees, Mr. Orbeta has transformed human resource systems and processes not only at the holding company but also throughout the Ayala group. He introduced restructuring and change management initiatives at Ayala Land. He founded and established
HRMall, the conglomerate’s HR shared services center and now a fully fledged business process outsourcing company. He created and has led the Ayala Group HR Council, composed of key HR decision makers and policy makers, to harness and foster synergy among Ayala companies to realize cost efficiencies, improve overall quality of HR services, and create innovative programs that add value to business. Mr. Orbeta also directs the Ayala Business Club, a conduit for capturing business opportunities and exchanging ideas in the different geographic regions around the country, as well as manages the Ayala Young Leaders Congress, a program which aims to hone college students’ leadership potential in the service of community and nation.
Prior to joining Ayala in 2005, Mr. Orbeta led Watson Wyatt’s Human Capital Consulting Group, one of the firm’s three global consulting businesses, overseeing operations in the United States and Canada, United Kingdom and Europe, Asia Pacific, and Latin America. He transformed Watson Wyatt Philippines into one of its most successful country offices during his nine-year tenure as managing director. Mr. Orbeta was made a Vice President of the firm in 1999 and continued on these concurrent roles until his retirement in May 2005. Mr. Orbeta also served as a member of the main Board of Directors of Watson Wyatt & Company, the NYSE-listed parent company from 2000 - 2003.
In 2009, Mr. Orbeta was awarded the People Manager of the Year by the People Management Association of the Philippines
(PMAP). He also received the Global HR Excellence Award for HR Leadership in the Philippines from the World HRD Congress. His program, “Reinventing HR at Ayala,” was awarded People Program of the Year by the PMAP in 2008.

Tony
Robbins is a geologist/geochemist with over 40 years experience in the
mining industry. He has lived or worked in the South East Asia mining
community for more than 20 years. From 1968 to 1996, Tony Robbins worked
for WMC (Western Mining Corporation) where he held a range of senior
positions including operations manager, exploration manager – Eastern
Australia and exploration manager – South East Asia/Pacific region. In
his last position with WMC, Tony managed the exploration program and the
team that discovered what has proved to be the world-class Tampakan
Copper and Gold Project in southern Mindanao . Tony was also involved in
the discoveries of the Benambra copper deposit, and the Junction,
Redeemer and Yandan gold deposits, the Edwin nickel deposit and the
minerals industry icon Olympic Dam – all in Australia .

Newton J. Smith is President & CEO of IBM Daksh Philippines. In this role, he is responsible for the financial outcomes of IBM Daksh Philippines and also oversees service delivery, operations, and customer satisfaction for the Philippine Business Unit. IBM Daksh is a business unit within IBM’s Managed Business Process Services (MBPS). Newton has a wealth of experience in IBM, having joined IBM Australia in 1984 and again in 2002 through the acquisition of PriceWaterhouseCoopers Consulting. Roxas-Chua III joined the Philippine government in October 2007 as the Chairman of the Commission on Information and Communications Technology
(CICT). He is the third Chairman of the CICT and the youngest member of the Cabinet. As the Chairman of the
CICT, he is also designated as the Development Champion of the Cyber Corridor Super Region and the Chairman of the Commission on Elections
(COMELEC) Advisory Council.
Prior to his appointment, he was President of ARCYA Glass Corporation, a glass manufacturing company, and Vice President and Assistant General Manager of Pacific Land and Building Corporation, a property development and management company.
Prior to moving back to the Philippines in 2005, Mr. Roxas-Chua was Vice President of the Technology Investment Banking unit of Citigroup Inc. in Palo Alto, California, where he focused on equity and debt underwriting, mergers and acquisitions advisory, and bank loan syndication for technology companies, particularly in the communications equipment, electronic manufacturing services and semiconductor sectors.
Mr. Roxas-Chua graduated at the top of his high school class at Xavier School and pursued his college education at the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Science from the School of Engineering and Applied Science.

Barry has been with JPMorgan Chase & Co. for over 15 years. Currently the Senior Country Operations Officer (SCOO) overseeing all Philippine-based Offshore and Outsourced operations of the firm, his responsibilities also include providing direction for the growth and expansion efforts of JPMorgan Chase & Co.’s Real Estate and operational investments in the country.

Clark is the Partner and Regional Director for TPI for South East Asia. He is responsible for the company’s Sales and Market entry across the South East Asia Region. He is a highly skilled General Manager with experience covering Sales, Delivery and P+L management. He has worked in Asia Pacific for over 10 years with a good understanding of business practices and challenges across the diverse IT markets across the region.
Gerry’s experience in the IT area covers 25 years and includes providing Strategy, Sales, Operations and Delivery experience to clients. His background covers managing Client Relationships as well as managing delivery of IT systems covering both Infrastructure and Application Services.
