Exchange
Hans B. Sicat serves as President, Chief Executive Officer and
Director of Philippine Stock Exchange Inc since January 12,
2011. He is also an independent director of the Philippine
Dealing System Holdings Corporation, a subsidiary of PSE, as
well as independent director to Philippine Dealing and Exchange
Corporation and Philippine Depository & Trust Corporation,
subsidiaries of PDS.
He is also the Vice
President and a Director of LegisPro Corporation, a Knowledge
Process Outsourcing (KPO) firm, which he co-founded in September
2008.
He spent over two
decades as an international investment banker for various
predecessor firms of Citigroup. He was Chief Representative of
Citigroup Global Markets Asia Pacific Ltd. Philippines
Representative Office from 2000 to 2008 and Member of the
Country Coordinating Committee of Citigroup Philippines.
He was a Director and
Philippine Investment Banking Head of Salomon Smith Barney Asia
Pacific Ltd Hong Kong from 1996 to 2000; Managing Director for
Asian Fixed Income of Citicorp International Limited Hong Kong
from 1993 to 1996; Vice President and Capital Markets Asia Head
from November 1992 to November 1993; and Vice President and
Senior Transactor of Citicorp Securities, Inc. New York City.
In December 2009, he became a Director of the Serica Balanced
Fund. He started his career as an Analyst and Staff member of
Asset Products Department from 1985 to 1987 of Citibank N.A.
New York City.
He did Coursework for
the PhD Economics Program from the University of Pennsylvania,
and earned his Master of Arts in Economics and his bachelors
degree in Mathematics both from the University of the
Philippines.
