Helped ensure the smooth transition of control and management of the
company to the Philippine Government after the return of the water
concession by the private owners Implemented the rehabilitation plan of

Agreement which was negotiated and signed by the international and
local creditor banks, the Metropolitan Waterworks & Sewerage System
and the company’s shareholders Headed the Finance and Administration
Group which was comprised of the treasury, comptrollership, financial
management, logistics and administration divisions As a member of the
privatization committee, played a pivotal role in developing and
implementing the privatization road map of the company. Maynilad Water,
which was previously in bankruptcy status, was successfully bidded out
at a value of over US$500 million.

company in negotiations with the government, foreign and local

paved the way for the rehabilitation of the company
